History

The Illinois Stock Transfer Company was founded by Samuel Insull who pioneered the expansion of the electric utility services in the early 1900’s. Initially, the company handled only his utilities, but today, all types of businesses and industries are clients. After many years of ownership and management by Mr. Insull, the company was acquired by Middle West Service Co. In 1974, George D. Pearson purchased the company after managing it since 1968. Today, George’s son, Robert Pearson is the owner and day to day manager of the company. In 2010, Illinois Stock Transfer Company changed it's name to IST Shareholder Services.

Shareholder and client satisfaction is the most important goal.
